The Muslim festival of Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and people celebrate by gathering with family and friends, exchanging gifts, and greeting each other. In partnership with the Turkish Cultural Center, join us to learn the story of Eid al-Fitr and celebrate with dance, music, food, and art activities including traditional water marbling and more.

Visitors’ tickets are valid for the purchased timed session and future timed sessions tickets must be purchased. You can enter the Museum at any time during your ticketed timed session. All visitors must exit BCM at the end of their Play Session so that the Museum can be cleaned.

For the health and safety of our visitors, we’ve made a few changes to our schedule and policies. Masks are required throughout your visit to the Museum. If you are asked multiple times to adhere to the mask policy, you may be asked to leave the Museum for the health and safety of all. Before visiting the Museum, please review all new procedures at https://www.brooklynkids.org/reopening.

1. All visitors, including members, must reserve tickets in advance.

Members: click "Sign In" above in the upper right corner before reserving your tickets in order not to be charged. If this is your first time reserving tickets online, click "Sign In," select "Click here to register," and enter your details.

Partners: For our Play Sessions, we currently provide free or discounted tickets to Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC), Cool Culture, Culture Pass, EBT/SNAP card holders, healthcare worker, NYPD, FDNY, Military Families, teachers, corporate members and several other partners. To book tickets under these programs and partnerships, please visit BCM in person and we will provide you tickets for that day or for a future date. We reserve a block of tickets for these partners to ensure there will always be access for our partners.

2. All visitors three years and older must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.

3. There is no eating in the Museum at this time. We have also closed our café following CDC guidelines. All food must be consumed outside on our rooftop terrace.

4. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by all Visitor Guidelines and any additional safety protocols that may be in effect upon your arrival.

All sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your tickets can be rescheduled. Please email hello@brooklynkids.org to reschedule and include your order number, as well as the date and time of the session you would like to attend.

Tickets can be exchanged up to 72 hours prior to the event date, based on availability. Due to strict capacity limitations, BCM regrets that tickets may not be available on your chosen date.

BCM has an outdoor roof canopy, and in general programs happen rain or shine. If a program is canceled due to weather or other circumstances, BCM will notify ticket-buyers as soon as possible. If the event is rescheduled, tickets will be exchanged for the new date. If the event cannot be rescheduled, tickets will be refunded.

Tickets will not be refunded if a visitor is asked to leave Brooklyn Children’s Museum because they do not comply with BCM’s Safe Space Policy, our Health & Safety Protocols, or federal, state or local laws. We ask that you review these policies with your family prior to your visit.
