Teaching musician Lavender Blues explores music, movement and rhythm with children ages 1-3 years in this engaging jam session. During this class kids develop an understanding of rhythm and music, build awareness and control of their body as well as develop social and coordination skills.

Class size limited to 20 children and their caregivers.

Twelve (12) sessions from September 21, 2017 to December 14, 2017 (no class on November 23 for Thanksgiving). Note that this class is designed as a partner class for children and caregivers.

 

SPARK CLASS POLICIES

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for all programs. Full payment is required upon registration in order to reserve a space in the program. Students withdrawing from a semester-long class who cancel at least 72 hours prior to the start date will receive a full refund less a $75 processing fee. Students withdrawing from a semester-long class less than 72 hours prior to the start date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be granted after the start of the program, regardless of attendance. Brooklyn Children's Museum does not accommodate make-up classes for those missed due to student illness or other circumstances that fall outside the museum's control.

Brooklyn Children’s Museum reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet enrollment requirements. Brooklyn Children’s Museum may cancel classes due to inclement weather, and will do the best to reschedule those sessions if possible. Brooklyn Children’s Museum reserves the right to use photos/videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes.
