Ideal Playground

September 25 to December 18, 2018
Tuesdays, 11:45 – 12:45 pm
Ages 2 to 5 years

Playgrounds are built for children, so why not allow children to become the architects of the only space in the public realm that is truly theirs? This workshop encourages children to turn on their imaginations to consider the ideal playground through the use of arts, crafts, games, and stories. Visitors will design a three-dimensional playground using found and recycled materials in new and innovative ways.

Taught by: Aminah Ricks, director of Future Planners.

Class size limited to 12 children and their caregivers. Pre-registration required.

Tuesday: twelve (12) sessions from September 25 - December 18, 2018. $396 for the fall session.  (We will skip November 20 for the Thanksgiving holiday.) Note that classes are designed as a partner class for children and caregivers.  Pre-registration required.

This class will be held at Spark by BCM at 1 John Street, Brooklyn NY 11201 in DUMBO.
